Mr. Goranson has managed the design and construction of a wide
variety of water and wastewater activities. These endeavors have included the following projects. |

-- Construction of a 350 acre-foot effluent storage reservoir, including a 90
foot earthen dam ($1.2 million).
|
|
-- Construction of a 0.125 MGD water treatment facility
|
|
-- Construction of several miles of water and wastewater pipeline
|
|
-- Design and construction of a 0.25 MGD aerated wastewater treatment
facility with 100 acres of effluent spray irrigation ($1.1 million).
|
|
-- Design of a 0.1 MGD aerated wastewater treatment facility, with wet
weather storage.
|
|
-- Design of a 250 acre industrial food processing effluent irrigation system.
|
|
-- Preparation of over 100 NPDES permits, including municipal, industrial,
agricultural, and silvicultural.
|
|
SEPTIC SYSTEMS
|
|
-- Documented flow & loading conditions, and designed improvements to a large
resort's 30,000 gpd wastewater system (Lake County).
|
|
-- Designed wastewater treatment and disposal system for several wineries (Napa
and Sonoma Counties).
|
|
-- Designed wastewater system improvements, prepared a detailed Contingency
Plan and surface water monitoring plan for a public elementary school (Contra
Costa County).

|
-- Negotiated and designed a complex septic system repair for a commercial parcel
where the groundwater was at the ground surface (Sonoma County).
|
|
-- Prepared a wastewater treatment and disposal plan for a duck hunting club
(Colusa County).
|
|
-- Designed a hillside septic and disposal systems on several sites with slopes of
approximately 60% (Marin County).
|
|
-- Consulted on a large commercial nursery's failing septic system (Solano County).
|
|
-- Installed the first individual aerobic wastewater treatment system (Cotati - 1997).
|
|
-- Installation of the first residential aerobic wastewater treatment systems in the
following Counties and Jurisdictions: Sonoma (1997), Stinson Beach (1999), and
Contra Costa (2000).

-- Design and Installation of the first Geoflow drip irrigation system for the disposal of
single residential wastewater in the State (Sonoma County - 1997).
